The price changes.
The platform doesn’t
A tier decides how many instances you run and how large they can be. It never decides which features you get. Every paid tier has all of them. Change tier in the console and carry on with the same instance.

SIZES

OR RUN IT YOURSELF
Self-hosting is free, and always will be
Sinas is open source under AGPL v3, and Cloud runs the same code. The platform costs nothing to self-host: what you pay for here is somebody else operating it, on hardware you do not have to buy.

QUESTIONS
Before you decide
Is the free tier really free?
Yes, and it does not need a card. One shared instance, 50,000 operations a month, and it is removed if you leave it untouched for two weeks. It exists so you can evaluate Sinas without running servers.
